2012年波尔多期酒活动周一由嘉仙(Gazin)正式展开。前酒商发行價为每瓶39欧元，比2011年的价格(42欧元)低了7％，而比2008年的价格(28.8欧元)則高了35.4％。这发行价格是否低到可足以吸引市场？其它近期年份嘉仙的当前价格意味着这并不足以。如下图所示，其伦敦发行价格比品质类似的年份如2004，2008和2011都更昂贵。相比可以以折扣价格购买这些陈年年份，使购买2012年份的诱因不大。当然嘉仙并不能代表所有波尔多的葡萄酒。然而，如果它将成为2012期酒活动的指标，这首个发行价格便不能提供太多的保证。
