We are now calculating the Liv-ex Claret Chip Index – which contains every First Growth from the last 15 years that has scored 95 plus Parker points – on a weekly basis.
The 31 wines that qualify for the index account for 57% of the Liv-ex 100 Fine Wine Index by weighting, so it provides a strong guide to future performance.
The level of the index on the previous Friday’s close (5pm) will be released on the Liv-ex Claret Chip page on www.liv-ex.com on the following Monday.
This initiative goes live on Monday 26th January. The weekly data back to the start of the year will also be given.
