While many businesses have been slowing down for summer, exposure on the Exchange – the total value of firm bids and offers – stands at a high £40million this August. There will be no disruption to Liv-ex collection or delivery services this year and the Exchange remains open 24/7 for all of your trading needs, come rain or shine.

Have you heard of LWIN?
LWIN, the Liv-ex Wine Identification Number, is being adopted by many members of the fine wine trade. By standardising fine wine names, these unique codes help to increase the efficiency and accuracy of fine wine transactions. Liv-ex distribution tariff updated
The new Liv-ex distribution tariff, which is updated annually, will come into effect on 1st September 2017. The updated tariff offers increased deliveries to several UK postcodes. No prices will rise. You can find out more here.

Liv-ex in the news
Bordeaux’s trade share was the subject of a number of stories this month. Bloomberg’s Guy Collins reported on its uptick in July as well as recent demand for Yquem. Meanwhile, The Drinks Business examined activity for Lafite and a rise in the number of searches for Figeac.

The finance team is pleased to welcome Tracy Ngina. Tracy has joined Liv-ex on a Finance Internship for her placement year from university. She is currently is an undergraduate at Brunel University where she studies Economics and Accounting. At Liv-ex Tracy is helping the Finance team with invoices and answering queries from members. Her hobbies include basketball and baking.
