Due to stong demand, we have decided to extend our Vine services this Christmas period to ensure minimal disruption. We will now run an extra European collection on the week of December 12th, and there will be no disruption to the Hong Kong service throughout. Please see below for full details.
Warehouse closing dates – holiday period
Please note that our warehouses will be closed on the following days:
Vine Bordeaux: closed 25th December 2016 – 6th January 2017 inclusive.
Vine London (Tilbury): closed 25th December 2016 – 27th December 2016 and 2nd January 2017.
Christmas Party: warehouse closed 16th December 2016 and office closed from 12pm. Deliveries for Friday 16th or Monday 19th must be placed by 15th December before 10.30am (for the relevant zones).
UK delivery and collection instructions deadline:
For standard deliveries and collections we ask that all instructions are sent to us before Monday 12th December to guarantee delivery or collection prior to Christmas. After this date please check with your Vine Manager.
Prime Shipments:
Over the Christmas period, there will be a change to the normal schedule for collections from Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, Germany and France (Burgundy). These collections will take place on the following weeks:
- W/c 5th December
- W/c 12th December*
- W/c 9th January*
- W/c 16th January
*These are replacement services to the normal schedule, which will resume in February.
Bordeaux to UK shipment deadline:
Wines sold on Liv-ex need to be delivered to Vine Bordeaux by Monday 12th December (rather than the 5th) in order to be on the final 2016 shipment to our UK warehouse. This is to ensure that we have time to check and invoice stock before the end of the year. During this time you are welcome to deliver directly into Vine Tilbury if you wish.
This serivce will resume w/c 9th January 2017.
London (Tilbury) – Hong Kong Shipment:
There will now be no changes to the Hong Kong Shipment over the Christmas period.
London (Tilbury) – Burgundy JF Hillebrand:
Wines received in November will be delivered w/c 19th December 2016 (rather than w/c 10th January).
