One of the most popular functions from the previous versions of Cellar Watch and Liv-ex has been restored to the new websites, with improved back data to increase accuracy. The 'Max' function enables a user to search the whole of a wine’s market price and Liv-ex trade history, with data in some cases extending back to the early 1980s.
For example, if searching for Dom Perignon 1996 (LWIN 1082656) the
Market Price data runs back to May 2003, and trading data from December 2004. For Leoville Poyferre 2003 (LWIN 1012387) the Market Price data runs back to August 2004, and trading data from June 2004. Currently, the extent of the data is
subject to the currency – selecting GBP should take the chart back the furthest.
