Vine – Liv-ex's specialist storage and transport solution for the fine wine trade – is now offering air freight shipments to Hong Kong. The new service will be in operation from April 2012, with the aim of making trading more convenient for Liv-ex’s Asian-based members.
The door-to-door service is priced at a competitive 55GBP (HK$ 669) per case, with no minimum charge or quantity.
Stock is held in temperature-controlled conditions in LCB Tilbury and at Jebsen in Hong Kong, with delivery to addresses in Hong Kong using temperature-controlled vehicles.

Insurance
The price excludes insurance, which can be provided at a rate of 0.5% of the insurable value. The total insurable value must be quoted to Vine by the customer in GBP before shipment.
Delivery
Delivery charges to outlying islands (Discovery Bay, Ma Wan, Tung Chung, etc.) may incur an extra charge. In addition, temperature-controlled delivery cannot be guaranteed when delivering to outlying islands. Staircase charges might apply starting from the second floor onwards. Normal parking, tunnel fees, gate pass and registration fees will be charged on an actual basis.
