By April 5, 2011Liv-ex updates

Liv-ex and our specialist logistics provider, Vine, have opened a new temperature-controlled wine chamber within London City Bond, Tilbury. The new chamber trebles Vine’s storage capabilities, affording over 700 square metres of racked and bulk storage space for up to 20,000 cases of wine. The new chamber provides the ideal environment for the storage of fine wine and forms part of our continued investment in fine wine logistics services.

Vine, a wholly owned subsidiary of Liv-ex Ltd, handles all Liv-ex transactions and provides a specialist storage and transport solution for the international fine wine trade.

The new warehouse space, which is the only temperature controlled wine chamber in the LCB Tilbury complex, has been designed to meet the specific needs of fine wine traders and is fully equipped with photo booths and professional photo equipment for condition checks and verification.

Each case can be individually tracked and the warehouse is fully integrated with Vine’s innovative website, which allows customers to access photos and manage stocks online. The physically secure chamber is fitted with CCTV and is managed by a dedicated team of four warehousemen.
