Critics’ scores

Neal Martin (Vinous) gave the wine a score of 95-97 points and mentions its ‘impressive depth (more so than the 2019 and 2020) and precision’. He adds ‘this will require several years in bottle, but it will certainly be worth the wait’.

James Suckling awarded the wine a barrel range of 96-97 points. In his tasting note, he noted that ‘it builds at the end and opens like a butterfly’ and questioned if it was the ‘best ever?’

Jean-Marc Quarin was less impressed and scored it 93 points. However, he also commented that ‘it is the most accomplished that I tasted here’.
