Beychevelle 2015 opens this week’s releases

Beychevelle 2015

Beychevelle 2015 has been released at €50.4 p/b ex-negociant, up 16.6% on the 2014 release price of €43.2. It is being offered by the international trade at £535 per 12×75, making it cheaper than all back vintages previous to 2012 and 39.2% lower than the 2005.

The wine has received positive reviews from critics including Neal Martin (92-4) who called it “a suave Beychevelle in the making” and James Suckling (92-3) who called it “very pretty”.

Beychevelle has recently shown a strong performance on the secondary market: in March, Liv-ex reported that it was the best-performer in the Left Bank 200 index.
