The Liv-ex Claret Chip Index broke though the 350 barrier last week, hitting 352.98 on the 21st of May. The index is up 0.9% on the previous week and 5% month-on-month.
The graph below is rebased at 100 on the 31st of December '08 and tracks the progress of the five Firsts independently. Whilst the heat seems to have come off Lafite a touch, Latour is now the fastest growing wine in the market.
