Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 2022 released En Primeur  

  • Château Beau-Séjour Bécot has been released for £708 per 12×75.  
  • Antonio Galloni and Jeff Leve both scored the wine 98-100 points.

As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 2022 has been released at €57 per bottle ex-négociant.  

It is being offered by the international trade for £708 per 12×75 a 37.2% increase on the 2021’s opening price (£516 per 12×75).

Critics’ scores  

Neal Martin (Vinous) did not score the 2022 Château Beau-Séjour Bécot, however the wine received two potential perfect scores from Antonio Galloni (Vinous) and Jeff Leve, who scored it a barrel range of 98-100 points.  

William Kelley (Wine Advocate) awarded the wine a barrel range of 96-98 points, and Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux) rated it 96 points.  

Fair Value analysis  

At £708 per 12×75 for the new release, buyers looking for value might want to consider back vintages of Château Beau-Séjour Bécot.  

The 2019 vintage, for example, was rated 95 points by Neal Martin and is available at a Market Price of £476 per 12×75, a 32.8% discount to today’s release.  

The 2018 and 2020 received a slightly lower score of 93 points from the critic but are available at a discount of 40% and 27.1% discount to the 2022 respectively.
