Critical response

Monica Larner (The Wine Advocate) gave the wine 95-points and said it was a ‘terrific vintage’ for a wine with ‘enormous elegance and depth’.

Antonio Galloni (Vinous) gave it 96-points, calling it ‘incredibly inviting’ but also ‘very young and not fully expressing its potential’.

Jane Anson also gave the wine a rating of 96 and said it was ‘juicy, with so much tension and elegance’.

Fair value

There is value among back vintages. The 2019 and 2016 vintages, each with 96-points from The Wine Advocate, are both less expensive than today’s release.

The 95-point 2018 is also available at a discount of 15.2%.
