  • The wine received 91-93 points from Neal Martin.
  • The better rated 2018, 2019 and 2020 are available for the same price.

As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Giscours 2021 has been released at €40.8 per bottle ex-négociant, unchanged on the 2020’s opening price.

It is being offered by the international trade for £486 per 12×75. The 2020, 2019 and 2018 vintages have better scores than the new release and are available for around the same price. See more pricing analysis below.

Critics’ scores

‘A great success in a tricky year,’ noted Neal Martin (Vinous) who gave it a score of 91-93 points.

Jane Anson scored the wine 93-points, and it received a score of 86-88 points from Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Independent).

William Kelley (Wine Advocate) scored the wine 93-95 points noting that it continues a strong run of vintages from the estate in recent years.

Fair Value analysis

The 2018 and 2020 both have scores of 94-points from Martin and have current Market Prices of £490 and £492 respectively.

The 95-point 2019 is available for £488 per dozen and the 2015 has a current Market Price of £480.
