Matthew Jukes releases Bordeaux 2018 En Primeur scores

Yesterday evening (UK time), Matthew Jukes published his report on Bordeaux 2018. Overall, Jukes says that “2018 En Primeur Bordeaux is anything but predictable, with shocks and surprises in every region, and so it is more vital than ever that keen collectors do their research”.

According to Jukes, “some Châteaux have made their finest wines ever in this vintage, but others have fallen short”. In terms of pricing, he suggests that “as early prices have started to emerge perhaps the Bordelais will price this vintage correctly. We shall see”.

Jukes’ top-scoring wines can be found in the table below. Both Cos d’Estournel and Ducru Beaucaillou were in the top spot with a perfect 20/20 score.
