Troplong Mondot 2015 has been released at €82.8 per bottle ex-negociant, up 44% on the 2014 release price of €57.5. It is being offered by the international trade at £880 per 12×75, 49.2% higher than the 2014 opening price (£590).

Neal Martin said the wine “leans towards the hedonistic style of Saint Emilion” and awarded it 92-94 points. James Suckling said it was “very harmonious and super bright.” He scored the wine 96-97 points. James Molesworth noted its “exotic ripeness” and “power and range” and gave it 93-96 points.

At £880, Troplong Mondot 2015 is more expensive than most recent back vintages apart from the 2005, 2009 and 2010. Buyers looking for value, may be attracted by the 96-point 2012 available at £540 or the 96-point 2008 available for £510.
