Ducru Beaucaillou 2015 joins today’s releases

Ducru Beaucaillou 2015

Ducru Beaucaillou 2015 was released today at €120 per bottle ex-negociant: up 51.5% on 2014 (€79.2). It is being offered by the trade for £1,272 per 12×75, up 69.6% on the 2014’s release of £750.

At this price, the 2015 is more expensive than the majority of previous back vintages bar the 2005, 2009 and 2010, all of which also have higher scores. Neal Martin described Ducru Beaucaillou 2015 as “a 2015 with backbone”, commenting on its “subtle marine-like note towards the linear, black olive-tinged finish”. He awarded it 94-96 – the same score he gave the 2014, which he called “another magnificent Ducru-Beaucaillou to add to the roster.” The latter is available at £750 per 12×75, a 41% discount to the newly released 2015.
