Haut Batailley 2015 was released today at €28.8 per bottle ex-negociant, 26.3% higher than the 2014 (€22.8). It is being offered by the international trade at £300 per 12×75. This is 33.3% above the 2014 release which was first offered at £225.

Neal Martin said the wine “is a classic Pauillac” that “will offer 25 or 30 years of pleasure.” He scored the wine 92-94 in-barrel. James Suckling gave the wine a rating of 92-93. He described the 2015 as a “racy and balanced red.”

The 2015 is the highest scoring wine of recent vintages, but buyers looking for value may be attracted to the 92-point 2012 available at £204. Likewise, the 2014 is available at £219 and has an in-barrel score of 91-93.
