Rauzan-Ségla 2015 was released today at €50.5 per bottle ex-negociant, 31.2% higher than 2014 (€38.5).

Merchant offers are expected to start at £520 per 12×75, up 40.5% on the 2014 release of £370. It is potentially the highest scoring vintage since 2005 and came joint third for value in the Liv-ex 2015 member survey alongside Canon.

Neal Martin said the 2015 is a “brilliant Rauzan-Ségla, not necessarily more powerful than previous vintages, though enhanced by its precision, frisson and energy, perhaps longer on the finish.”

The 2015 offers good value at its expected price level. The 2009 (WA 95+) and 2010 (WA 95+) are both priced higher at £774 and £726 respectively.
