Liv-ex 1000

The Liv-ex 1000 Index gained 0.6% in February to close on 249.3. The Bordeaux 500 gained 0.7% and is now the best-performing sub-index of the Liv-ex 1000 over one year. This is the first time that it has been at the top since May 2011, before the peak of the Bordeaux market.

All but one of the other sub-indices gained in February. The Champagne 50 (+1.9%) was the top performer while the Italy 100 increased by 1.2%. The Rhone 100, which has lagged for some time, moved up for the second month in a row. The Rest of the World 50 remains the top performer over five years, but dipped again in February and is the only sub-index in negative territory year to date. All change?
