In the past month Pavie 2011 has been the second most searched for wine on the Exchange, surpassed only by the recently released Krug 2002.

Prices have also been on the move. With the exception of one high trade in August, the wine was trading at between £1,110 and £1,250 per 12×75 from July 2014. In December 2015 it traded at £1,200. Last week it traded at £1,400, up 16.7%. Its Market Price has made similar gains.

Liv-ex has reported that buyers have been showing interest in the lowest entry points to popular brands. Pavie 2011 was – until recently – the cheapest Pavie label, perhaps in part explaining its popularity. It also boasts a strong score of 95+ from Robert Parker who called it a “superstar” and “one of the most complete wines of the vintage”.
