The Liv-ex 1000 Index drifted 0.2% in October to close on 246.27 while the Bordeaux 500 dropped 0.83%. Despite this, both remain in positive territory year to date.

Although Burgundy’s trade share on the Exchange has been declining, prices do not appear to be following suit: the Burgundy 150 index has been both the top performer in October and throughout 2015, gaining 2.3% last month and 4.4% year to date.

With the exception of the Italy 100 which ran flat, all other sub-indices closed the month down. The Champagne 50 was the weakest sub-index in October, falling 1.1%, while the Rhone 100 continues to slump, dropping 0.4%.
