The Liv-ex 1000 Index gained 1% in June to close the month on 247.01 – its highest level since April 2014. The Bordeaux 500 also moved up, gaining 0.8%. With the Liv-ex Fine Wine 100 and Liv-ex 50 also climbing, all four of the major indices closed the month in positive territory.

All but one of the sub-indices moved up in June. The Bordeaux Legends 50 – up 2.3% – was the biggest mover while the Rest of the World 50 continues to be the best performing sub-index over one year: it gained 1.1% after dipping last month. Italy, which took 10.5% of all June’s trade by value – a ten-month high – also performed well in terms of price: the Italy 100 rose 1%.

The Rhone 100 was the only sub-index to dip. It fell 1.3% and continues to stand out as the worst performing of the sub-indices.
