Pape Clement was released today at €49.8 per bottle ex-negociant, equal to the 2013 and down 0.4% on 2012 (€50). It is being offered by merchants at £480 per 12×75, making it one of the cheapest vintages on the market. The 2014 price represents a 30% discount on the current market price of the 2006, and a 15% discount on the 2008. Both are comparably scored. Neal Martin, who awarded it 93-95 points, described it as “beautifully poised”.
