Haut Brion was released today at €240 per bottle ex-negociant, up 11.6% on the 2013 release (€215) and equal to the 2012. It is currently being offered by UK merchants at £2,320 per 12×75: lower than the ex-London open prices of the 2012 and 2013 by 3.3% and 17.2% respectively thanks to the weakened Euro. At this price it is the second cheapest vintage on the market, though only marginally: the 2006 and 2008 have higher scores and are available at just a small premium on the 2014 release price.
