Gloria was released at €21 per bottle, up 6.1% on 2013 (€19.8) and equal to the 2012. It has a merchant release price of £205 per 12×75, making cheaper than all vintages on the market except the 2011, 2012 and 2013 which all have lower scores. Neal Martin predicted that it “will blossom in bottle”.
Chateau Saint Pierre was released at €31.20 per bottle ex-negociant, up 13.5% on 2013 (€27.5) and up 2% on 2012 (30.6). It is being offered by merchants for £305 per 12×75. At this price, several back vintages are cheaper including the 2008: it has a higher critic score and is being offered at the same level as the most recent release.
