Following on from Gruaud Larose, Eglise Clinet also released this afternoon. At €132 per bottle ex-negociant, it is up 24.5% on the 2013 (€106) and up 5.6% on the 2012 (€125). Offered in the UK at £1,300 per 12×75, Eglise Clinet 2014 is not the cheapest vintage available, but its recent rise in quality has resulted in a good following for the brand. While Wine Spectator awarded the latest offering 92-95, other critics were more effusive: James Suckling scored it 94-95, and Jean-Marc Quarin scored it 96.
