Branaire Ducru was released today at €29.4 per bottle ex-negociant, up 18.1% on 2013 (€24.9) and up 3.2% on 2012 (€28.5). It is being offered by the international trade at £290 per 12×75, making it cheaper than several back vintages – though in some cases only by a small margin. Its merchant release price represents a 19% and 6% discount on the 2006 and 2008 respectively.

EP_Clinet

Clinet was also released today. It came out at €44 per bottle ex-negociant, up 12.8% on 2013 (€39) and equal to the 2012. It has a merchant release price of £430 per 12×75. At this price, it is the second cheapest vintage available on the market. However, with the 95-point 2011 and 2012 offered at around the same level, the most recent release may not appear to be the most attractive option to buyers.
