Armailhac and Clerc Milon join today’s releases

Armailhac_2014

Armailhac and Clerc Milon join Mouton Rothschild and Petit Mouton in releasing their 2014s today. Armailhac released at €24 per bottle ex-negociant, up 5% on the 2013 (€22.8) and down 4% on the 2012 (€25). With a UK release price of £230 per 12×75, it looks to offer relative value against back vintages. While it is the same price as the 2011 and 2012, critic scores have been more positive for the 2014. It is a similar story for Clerc Milon, which released up 12% on 2013 (€30) and 8% on 2012 (€31), and has a release price of £320 per 12×75. It was also voted eighth best value wine of the vintage by Liv-ex merchants.
