Bordeaux 2014 pages live on Liv-ex

There is less than a week to go until the trade depart for Bordeaux and the En Primeur UGC tastings. Critics are already there tasting the new wines, and James Suckling was one of the first out of the blocks with his 2014 scores (with more to come). Suckling has been complimentary about the newest Bordeaux vintage, calling 2014 the “most exciting vintage since 2010”. He has praised “the balance and the intensity” of the wines, although yesterday observed that the Left Bank wines are “darker, richer and more structured” than their Right Bank counterparts. A selection of Suckling’s scores are below.

Liv-ex has now launched its En Primeur pages – available to all – on www.liv-ex.com. Please take a look for the latest scores from leading critics, key prices and comparison to the releases from previous vintages. Liv-ex will also be surveying the trade for their opinions once they have returned from the UGC tastings, with findings published in mid-April.
