Guigal 2010s boost Rhone’s share of trade

By February 19, 2014Regions, Rhone

The recent release of the Guigal 2010 “La Las” – La Landonne, La Mouline and La Turque – has sparked a flurry of trading activity. In the December 2013 edition of the Wine Advocate Jeb Dunnuck awarded all three wines a potential 100-point score, the same as the 2009s.

Trading on the market at £3,100 per 12×75, the 2010 La Las are nearly 20% cheaper than the 2009 and 2005, also with 100 points. Their score and relative affordability does not seem to have gone unnoticed – trade for the three in February has boosted the Rhone’s share of trade to five times its typical monthly average.
