A couple of weeks ago Wine Spectator released its annual list of the top 100 wines reviewed over the past 12 months. The Saint-Emilion wine Canon La Gaffeliere 2010 took second place.
So how has this news had an impact on price? As shown in the chart below, the wine traded a few days ago for £636 per 12×75: an 18% increase on the price it traded for in August this year.
The best live Bid and Offer price have also moved upwards, with the current best live Bid at £636 and the best live Offer at £693. The 2010 is now the most expensive of Canon La Gaffeliere’s vintages – it would seem the market has taken notice.
