The last few days have seen a flurry of Bordeaux 2012

Many of the big names are yet to release, but there
has been little activity on the secondary market for those that have. Despite
a reduction on last year’s prices, trade on Liv-ex has been limited to just
four Bordeaux 2012s: L’Evangile, Duhart Milon, Lafite and Mouton – with only
the latter two trading above release price.
The chateaux’s drop in price should of course be applauded.
Yet this has failed to ignite the market. Is the collector waiting for
affirmation from Parker, or is the price simply still too steep?
