Montrose leads trade on Liv-ex

Traders' interest was not restricted to Left-Bank quarters last week, but encompassed strong brands from across Bordeaux and Burgundy. The week's most traded brands, in value terms, are shown in the table below.

Montrose accounted for the largest share of trade, having outpaced Lafite by some distance. The Right Bank's Petrus also made the top five, with keen demand pushing the '04 to a new high of £7,000 per six pack on Liv-ex. DRC claimed sixth place, whilst Haut Brion slipped just outside the top ten. Trade in Margaux, however, dropped to a whisper and the brand failed to register anywhere in the top 20.
