  • Château Saint-Pierre 2021 has been released at £460 per 12×75.
  • The wine has 90-92 points from Neal Martin.
  • Many recent vintages offer better value than today’s release.

As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Saint-Pierre 2021 has been released at €38.40 per bottle ex-négociant, unchanged on the 2020’s opening price.

Antonio Galloni gave it 91-93 points and commented that it was ‘very nicely done’.

William Kelley (The Wine Advocate) also awarded it 91-93, noting that ‘the 2021 Saint-Pierre is very pretty, offering up aromas of plums, wild berries, sweet spice box, cigar wrapper and nicely integrated new oak’.

Fair Value analysis

Buyers looking for value might be interested in the 93-point 2014 and 2017 vintages, available at a 16% discount.

The 95-point 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019 vintages are all available below the price of today’s release. At £358 per case, the 2019 presents the most attractive alternative.
