Château Gloria 2021 released En Primeur

  • Château Gloria 2021 has been released at £314 per 12×75. 
  • Neal Martin gave the wine a score of 91-93 points 
  • There are buying opportunities in back vintages. 

As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Gloria 2021 has been released at €26.40 per bottle ex-négociant, the same as the 2020’s opening price.  

It is being offered by the international trade for £314 per 12×75. There are buying opportunities in back vintages such as the 2018 and 2019. See more pricing analysis below.  

Critics’ scores 

Neal Martin (Vinous) scored the wine 91-93 points, saying it had a ‘very pure and perfumed nose’. Antonio Galloni gave it 90-92 points but said it was ‘bright and energetic’. 

William Kelley (Wine Advocate) also gave it 90-92 points and added it could ‘emerge as the sleeper of the vintage’. 

Fair Value analysis 

The 2018, 2019 and 2020 vintages all have higher scores from Martin and are available at discounts to today’s release. 

The 2020 is marginally cheaper at £312 per case (12×75) but the 94-point 2019 is on the market for £300 and the 93-point 2018 for £295.
