Quintus 2019 has been released at €67 per bottle ex-négociant, down 30.2% on the 2018 release price (€96). The wine is being offered at £825 per 12×75, a 28.2% decrease from the 2018 release of £1150 a case.

James Suckling awarded the wine 96-97 points, calling it “one of the firmest, most structured Quintus with lots of beautiful fruit and powerful tannins.” Jean Marc-Quarin awarded 94 points.

Today’s release comes to the market at the same price as the 2014 did five years ago, albeit against a more favourable Euro exchange rate.  The 2019 is offered below the past three vintages, but possibly above in terms of score? Should Neal Martin agree with the scores given above, it will be his highest ever Quintus score and suggest some value to this release.

Le Dragon de Quintus 2019 also released, at €21.5 per bottle ex-négociant, down 23.2% on the 2018 release price (€28).
