Chasse Spleen 2019 released

Chasse Spleen 2019 has been released at €19.2 per bottle ex-negociant, down 20% on the 2018 (€24). The wine is being offered by the international trade at £240 per 12×75, down 16.7% on the 2018’s opening price of £288 a case.

It comes with an international recommended price tag of 22.4 HT, 197 HK, 25.3 CHF, 25.8 USD.

The 2019 Chasse Spleen received 92-93 points from James Suckling, who said that this is “a very polished red with blackberries, chocolate, walnuts and dried tobacco”, with “pretty finesse and polish”. Jeff Leve, however, scored it a lower range of 85-87.

Buyers might also wish to consider the 2014 vintage, with 92 points from Neal Martin, available at a small discount to today’s release.
