- Doisy-Daëne 2020 has been released at £288 per 12×75 SEP.
- The release price of the wine is the same as the the 2019’s initial release and makes the 2020 equal to the current Market Price of its predecessor.
- The new vintage has been scored 17 by Jancis Robinson MW who called it a “modern Barsac” and with “impressive” quality given the year.
The wine has been released at €24 ex-négociant, the same price as the 2019 offer. It is being offered by the trade for around £290 per case of 12, again equal to the 2019’s current market price.
The Barsac estate’s ‘L’Extravagant de Doisy-Daëne was also released at €138 per bottle ex-négociant, a decrease of 41% on the opening price of the 2019.

There are few scores for Sauternes at present though Jancis Robinson scored the Doisy-Daëne 17, calling it: “Very rich but edgy and energetic too. Firm and fresh with a floral note. A modern Barsac! Impressive to have managed this quality and this (relatively) generous yield.”
Lafaurie-Peyraguey also released its 2020 wine yesterday (10th May) at €38.40 per bottle ex-négociant. The team at JancisRobinson.com scored it 16.
