Haut Bages Liberal 2019 released

Haut Bages Liberal 2019 was released at €22.8 per bottle ex-négociant, down 23.2% on the 2018 release (€29.7). The wine is being offered at £285 per 12×75, a 22.1% decrease on the 2018 release of £366 a case.

The wine is yet to be scored by any major critics, but we expect they will be published in the coming hours or days.

For more information on the wine, you can view the Chateau’s vintage presentation on the Union des Grand Cru de Bordeaux’s YouTube channel, here.

The 2019 vintage released at the same price as the 2015, which Neal Martin had on record as “one of the best releases in recent years”, an accolade he awarded with 93 points. Buyers may consider the 2015 for value too. It’s the Chateau’s highest scored wine, using the benchmark critics, and sits at a discount to the other famously great vintages of 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2018 and at just a small premium to today’s release.
