The 2020 Chateau Grand-Puy-Ducasse has been released for €24 per bottle ex-négociant, up 8.1% on last year’s release.
The wine is now being offered by the international trade for £300 per 12×75, 8.7% more than the current Market Price of the 2019.

Critical opinion
Neal Martin (Vinous) gave today’s release a barrel range of 92-94 points. “A wonderful effort from this Pauillac that has always threatened to pulls its socks up,” he said.
For Antonio Galloni, who awarded the same barrel range, “the 2020 is a striking wine loaded with potential”.
James Suckling (94-95) went even further to suggest that the 2020 Grand-Puy Ducasse is “one of the best ever”.
The wine also received 92-94 points from Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Advocate) and 92 from Falstaff.
Fair Value
The 2020 offers Fair Value according to our methodology. The 2019 also looks attractive and is available for 8% less.
The 2015 is also comes at a similar price level (£296 per case) and while it received 92-points from Neal Martin, it has the next-best score from Martin and has some bottle age.
