We recently compiled a list of the most followed brands on Liv-ex, as measured by clicks into individual wine pages in the last month. Though overall our findings seem to confirm the status quo – that demand is largely concentrated in Left Bank Bordeaux – the results also point to a number of new developments in the fine wine market, including surging interest in the Super Seconds and Sauternes.
Unsurprisingly, the First Growths enjoy the strongest following on Liv-ex, led by Lafite. Beyond Bordeaux, however, DRC, Dom Perignon and Sassicaia are the only brands to feature in the top 50 searches.
The table below shows the most followed wines on Liv-ex.com. As you can see, Lynch Bages and Pontet Canet are the most popular brands outside of the First Growths. Other top searches include the First Growths’ second wines and the increasingly popular Duhart Milon and Beychevelle. Yquem's position within the top 15 seems to be a clear reflection of the brand’s growing interest from Asia.
