This week the number of active markets on Liv-ex (wines with
either a bid or an offer placed against them on the exchange) reached a record
high of 4,248. This marks a 50% increase since June's level of 2,810. While largely down to an increase in offers, over the
last month the number of bids has risen too. Total exposure (the value of bids and offers on Liv-ex) has also reached an all-time high, having risen to £23 million.
The market may be tough, but the Liv-ex marketplace is growing fast. With both active markets and
total exposure at record highs, opportunities
abound.
