Understanding your account summary
Liv-ex’s account summary page offers a simple overview of your account, enabling you to find key information at the click of a button.
You can find it by logging in to Liv-ex and navigating to Account Summary under the My account tab.
The summary page can quickly answer questions such as:
- What is my trading status?
- When is my wine due in?
- What wine is in my account?
- How much do I owe Liv-ex? Or how much does Liv-ex owe me?
- When do I need to pay? Or when will I be paid?
The Trading activity tab allows you to view and search all of your recent activity. You can see exactly where each of your trades are in the settlement process.
As a buyer, you can view invoiced trades and information about when payment is due.
You can also view trades that are not yet invoiced and download a PDF proforma invoice or email it to yourself. This not only allows you to pay your balance quickly, so that wine can be moved into your account as soon as it arrives, but it also helps you to free up your trading limit.
As a seller, you can also view the status of pending trades. This helps you to easily see what action to take next. For example, when to deliver a wine or to assign stock already in a Liv-ex warehouse.
Once you have sold a wine on Liv-ex, the Trading activity tab lets you know when you can expect to be paid.
Net statements & invoices
The Net statements & invoices tab enables you to access all net statements for the past two years. This allows easy access to remittance advice for any money that Liv-ex has paid you.
You can also search for old invoices easily, using the search bar shown below.
Once found, you can save the information in one of three ways:
- Download PDF
- Export to Excel
- Email as an attachment
This allows you to keep track of your past and present finances at a touch of a button.
