The Liv-ex June Market Report 2025 outlining that Asian purchasing continues to increase, with a focus on Burgundy. It is well known that the Asian market has been subdued for a long time. However, over recent months we have been seeing what might be early indications of a reversal of fortunes.

The topics covered in the Liv-ex June Market Report 2025:

  • The majority of Liv-ex’s major indices saw declines in May, though not as severe as in April
  • The Rest of the World 60 and Bordeaux Legends 40 were the top performers, up 0.4% and 0.1% respectively.
  • The Champagne 50 was again the worst hit, down 0.7% month-on-month.
  • The US continues to take a back seat, recording its lowest share of purchase value since January 2020.
  • Asian buying continues to increase, with a focus on Burgundy.
  • Bordeaux En Primeur comes to a close, with very few releases having generated demand.
