Château Malartic-Lagravière 2021 released En Primeur

  • Château Malartic-Lagravière 2021 has been released at £344 per 12×75.
  • The wine has 90-92 points from Neal Martin.

As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Malartic-Lagravière 2021 has been released at €28.80 per bottle ex-négociant, the same as the 2020’s opening price.

It is being offered by the international trade for £344 per 12×75. The 2019 vintage looks better value compared to today’s release. See more pricing analysis below.

Critics’ scores

Neal Martin (Vinous) awarded today’s release a barrel range of 90-92 points, and said he suspected ‘this will drink well for up to 15 years’.

Antonio Galloni (Vinous) gave it the same barrel range, and noted that ‘the 2021 has plenty to offer’.

William Kelley (The Wine Advocate) also scored it 90-92, while Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Independent) gave it 85-87 and Jane Anson rated it 92-points.

Buyers looking for value might be interested in the 2019 vintage, which boasts 95-points from Neal Martin and is currently available at below £300 per case.

Le Comte de Malartic 2021 was released today at €12.50 per bottle ex-négociant, the same as the 2020 release.

Château Marquis de Terme 2021 was also released this morning at €29.50 per bottle ex-négociant. The wine is being offered for £372 per 12×75.
