While the year has not been without its challenges, some wines have yielded positive returns for investors over the past six months.
Italian wines, however, account for four of the top ten, having also featured heavily in the list of the most traded wines in 2020.
Three wines from Champagne also feature in the table below: Pol Roger, Sir Winston Churchill 2002, Louis Roederer, Cristal Rose 2009 and Perrier Jouet, Belle Epoque 2008. The Champagne 50 index is up 2.14% year-to-date, making it the best performing Liv-ex 1000 sub-index.
