Ausone 2019 has been released at €420 per bottle ex-négociant, down 25.7% on the 2018 release (€565). The wine is being offered by the international trade at £5280 per 12×75, a 24.6% decrease on the 2018 opening price of £7000 a case.

Jean Marc Quarin awarded a 97 and James Lawther MW (JancisRobinson.com) a 17.5+.

Prices for Ausone have a 55% correlation to ‘Benchmark Critic’ scores. Wines of similar price but slightly higher scores and available on the physical market include, 2006, 2008, and Neal Martin’s highest scored vintage, 2016. Based on the score of Jean-Marc Quarin, today’s release is coming to the market below the line, a sign of fair value.

Chapelle Ausone 2019 has also been released, at €120 per bottle ex-négociant.
