Roger Voss (Wine Enthusiast) releases Bordeaux 2017 scores

Yesterday, Roger Voss released his Bordeaux 2017 En Primeur scores on Wine Enthusiast.

In a previous report, Voss says that normally En Primeur “is a happy time for Bordeaux wine producers, but this year, they’re being asked about the worst frosts since 1945”. He added that “some producers even left town this week to avoid the heartbreak”.

Overall, Voss concludes that the “areas where there was no frost have resulted in an overall fine crop of early-drinking wines”. For more information on the frost damage in Bordeaux 2017, you can read the latest report by Gavin Quinney here.

A selection of Voss’ top scores are shown in the table below. You can also compare his scores to other leading critics on our critic scores page, which will be updated as more are released.
