Lafleur 2016 released – Simply has it all

Lafleur 2016 has been released and is being offered by merchants at £5,160 per 12×75, up 14.6% on the 2015 (£4,500).

Overall, Lafleur was one of the favourite wines of the vintage. It received potential 100-point scores from Antonio Galloni (97-100), James Suckling (99-100) and Jean-Marc Quarin (99-100).

Neal Martin was also impressed and awarded the wine 96-98 points. He said that “Baptiste Guinaudeau appeared quietly confident about this latest vintage and he has every right to be”. Galloni agreed that “the 2016 simply has it all”.

Prices for Lafleur are 86.8% correlated to Wine Advocate score. Based on today’s release of £5,160 per 12×75, Liv-ex’s ‘fair value’ methodology places Lafleur 2016 below the trend line.

Buyers confident in the quality of the 2016 will find value in this year’s release, which is available at a 45.7% discount to the similarly scored 2010.
