By November 6, 2015Member updates

Welcome to the November 2015 Liv-ex monthly newsletter
In October we continued our weekly noticeboard series that examines ways in which you can get the most out of your Liv-ex membership. Although the month saw the highest level of trade since March, several of the Liv-ex fine wine indices faltered and the Liv-ex 50 was pushed into negative territory for the year (-0.41% YTD).

Ways to make the most of your Liv-ex membershiplightbulb
Step 1: Use the market depth to expand your offering
Step 2: Give your team access to market intelligence
Step 3: Identify new opportunities to trade
Step 4: Get paid faster
Step 5: Buy with confidence

Step 6: Open up new markets

New accounts summary email launched
In October Liv-ex launched a new automated email that provides your sales summary and invoices, giving you the most relevant accounts information in one place. On Fridays this email will also contain your net statement, which is due for settlement the following Friday.

There is no change to payment terms and you can still access invoices online, under the More tab. If you would like more people in your company to access the pdf invoice links, please ask your Account Manager to set them up with logins – you are allowed an unlimited number of Liv-ex users.

SIB Passport: soon to be valid for three years SIB_Passport_2
The SIB Passport is a unique electronic certificate issued by Vine to show that a case of wine is SIB compliant. It is available to all Liv-ex customers to help speed up payment time and make it more efficient to trade. Currently, a passport is valid for two years once issued if the wine remains stored in Vine. Changes to Vine’s insurance will mean that from January 2016 the life of an SIB passport will be extended to three years. More details will follow soon.

Liv-ex Prime: now collecting from Beaune
In October we added Beaune to the list of locations that Prime collects from twice a month – offering a per case charge and no minimum quantity. Prime regions already includes Germany, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland. Speak to your Exchange Manager to find out more.

Vine’s Christmas Schedule
Vine’s Christmas schedule, with key dates and information on shipping and storage over the festive period, is now available on the noticeboard.
